【專輯簡介】
海莉•薇思特拉（Hayley Westenra）今年的這張專輯的關鍵字就是埃尼奧•莫里康（Ennio Morricone）這位大師級的義大利作曲家，專輯名Paradiso（天堂之音）也取自莫里康所配樂過的電影《天堂電影院》（Cinema Paradiso），專輯所錄歌曲也是莫里康為海莉新創作的歌曲以及其近50年來的經典電影配樂曲目，樂隊部分由莫里康指揮其管弦樂隊Sinfonietta di Roma。海莉也為一些經典曲目填詞。這張唱片先於今年4月18日在海莉的家鄉新西蘭首發，其次是6月於日本地區，英國及美國會陸續發行。

"Hayley Westenra is a rare singer, maybe unique in the international panorama. Her voice and perfect intonation have really struck me. This is already a lot for a composer. Then, working with her, I found out that she is also a great interpreter. I'm sure we'll do a good job together."
Hayley is now realizing her dream of working with master Italian composer and conductor, Ennio Morricone, on her forthcoming studio album.
Well known for his iconic film scores including The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, Morricone received in 2007 an honorary Academy Award for his contribution to the art of film music. Paradio was recorded with Ennio's orchestra in Rome this past Summer and features new songs written by Morricone for Hayley as well as some of his best known film compositions of the last 50 years.
